6.3 Function
The cooktops are equipped with a safety thermocouple which interrupts the gas
supply approx. 30 seconds after the flame goes out.

Installing the cooktops

7.1 Selecting the installation location
When selecting the installation location, observe the following instructions:
• There must be air vents with a cross-section of at least 150 cm
location.
• Observe the minimum distances (fig. 2, page 4).
• Ensure that there is no draught at the installation location.
7.2 Installation steps
1. Create a cutout in the countertop (fig. 3, page 5).
2. Attach a rubber seal between the countertop and the device.

NOTE
Contact the manufacturer if the device is not supplied with a rubber seal.
3. Fasten the device in the countertop (fig. 4, page 5).
7.3 Installing the pot holders (CVH1350MP, CVH1525MP)
➤ Fasten the potholders in the prepared holes on the cooktop using the screws
provided (fig. 5, page 6).
