Overheating protection

The appliance is fitted with an overheating protector! If the appliance overheats,
it switches off automatically . As soon as it has cooled down sufficiently, it
switches itself on again automatically .
To prevent the appliance from restarting unintentionally, switch the appliance off
if it overheats . Allow the appliance to cool for 15 – 20 minutes before using it
again .

Cleaning

WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the
appliance .
Never immerse the appliance, the mains cable or the plug in water or
any other liquid! This could lead to a potentially fatal electric shock!
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Allow the appliance to cool fully before cleaning it .
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents! They could
irreparably damage the surface .
Wipe out the popcorn chamber with a dry cloth . If necessary, slightly
moisten the cloth .
Clean the motor unit 3 with a moist cloth . If necessary, apply a mild
washing­up liquid to the cloth . Afterwards, wipe off with a cloth moistened
only with water to ensure that no detergent remains on the appliance .
Clean the lid 2 and the measuring spoon 1 in warm water with a mild
detergent . Rinse off all parts afterwards with plenty of fresh water .
NOTE
Dry all parts thoroughly before reusing or storing them .

The lid 2 and the measuring spoon 1 are both dishwasher­safe .
Place the parts in the upper basket only and ensure that none of the
parts can get stuck . Otherwise, they could become deformed!
