Overheating protection

The appliance is fitted with an overheating protector! If the appliance overheats,
it switches off automatically. As soon as it has cooled down sufficiently, it
switches itself on again automatically.
To prevent the appliance from restarting unintentionally, switch the appliance off
if it overheats. Allow the appliance to cool for 15 – 20 minutes before using it
again.

Cleaning

WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the
appliance.
Never immerse the appliance, the mains cable or the plug in water or
any other liquid! This could lead to a potentially fatal electric shock!
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Allow the appliance to cool fully before cleaning it.
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents! They could
irreparably damage the surface.
Wipe out the popcorn chamber with a dry cloth. If necessary, slightly
moisten the cloth.
Clean the motor unit 3 with a moist cloth. If necessary, apply a mild
washing-up liquid to the cloth. Afterwards, wipe off with a cloth moistened
only with water to ensure that no detergent remains on the appliance.
Clean the lid 2 and the measuring spoon 1 in warm water with a mild
detergent. Rinse off all parts afterwards with plenty of fresh water.
NOTE
Dry all parts thoroughly before reusing or storing them.

The lid 2 and the measuring spoon 1 are both dishwasher-safe.
Place the parts in the upper basket only and ensure that none of the
parts can get stuck. Otherwise, they could become deformed!
