OIL
NOZZLE REPAIR
The nozzle is
a precision machined
device consisting of the body, disc,
cao and core.
Refer
to
Figure
12
for the
relative
location of
the parts of
the nozzle assembly.
Proper
assembly of
the
nozzle
is as follows:
1.
The
flat surface of
the
disc faces toward
the
front of the
nozzle
body
and
the
cap fits
into
the
disc.
2.
The nozzle
core
slips
over
the end
of the oil supply
tube.
3.
Tne
"0"
ring
on
the oil supply
tube
seals the nozzle core to the oil
supply tube.
4.
The base
of
the
core
must seat firmly against the rim of
the
air tube
which
surrounds
the
oil supply
tube. The
oil supply tube must
extend
beyond the
air
tube
a
measured
distance.
5.
Exercise
extreme
caution when
cleaning and handling
the
nozzle
parts.
No metal
instruments should be used to
clean
the
nozzle.
6.
Tighten the
reassembled nozzle
firmly without excessive
pressure.
