@ Fill-in Flash Mode
:
This mode makes the flash fire all the time.
In outdoor photography, portrait pictures against
bright sunlight or backlight without fill-in flash,
may make the subject dark or silhouetted. When
the Fill-in flash mode is set, both the person and
background can be photographed beautifully.
(Daylight Flash)
• When appropriate shutter speed is less than 1/60
sec., shutter speed will be set 1/60 sec.

In addition to the feature of Red-eye reduction
flash mode, the shutter speed will be slowed in
response to the brightness of the ambient
light.(Slow-shutter synchronization.)
When talking portrait pictures in the evening or
capturing night scenes with lit backgrounds, this
mode can be used. Both the subject and its
background will be beautifully exposed.
• Since the shutter speed may become quite slow
with slow-shutter synchronization, a tripod is
recommended to prevent camera shake.
