Operation
· Before starting work check that the following are
in proper working order:
- saw blades;
- retractable blade guard;
- sawhead lock.
· Use personal protection gear:
- dust respirator;
- hearing protection;
- safety goggles.
· Assume proper operating position:
- at the front of the saw;
- in front of the saw;
- to the left of the line of cut.
· If the type of work requires, use the following:
- work support – for long stock, which would
otherwise fall off the table on completion of
the cut;
- dust collector;

Danger! Drawing in or trapping hazard.
Do not wear loose clothing, jewellery, or
gloves, which may get caught and wound up
by the revolving saw blade.
Contain long hair with a hair net.

Caution!
Cut only stock of dimensions that permit for
safe holding during the cutting operation.
Always hold the workpiece against the fence
and down on the table.
Do not jam workpiece.
Always cut one workpiece at a time.
Use appropriate jig when cutting round stock
to keep it from turning.
Do not attempt to stop the saw blade by push-
ing the workpiece against its side.
Replace a dull blade at once.

Standard cross cuts
Starting position:
- Sawhead fully lifted
(if necessary, pull out locking pin);
- Turntable locked in 0° -position;
- Saw blade is vertical against the saw table.
1. Hold workpiece against the fence.
2. Depress and hold down the switch button.
3. Push sawhead release button and lower saw-
head, holding it at the saw handle.

For sawing exert only so much downward
pressure that the motor speed does not fall off
too much.
4. Cut workpiece in a single pass.
5. Release switch button and swing sawhead back
to its upper rest position.
