Gas discharge lamp s (Xenon light s):
Due to the high electrical voltage, have the bu lbs replaced by a qual -
ified technician. Headlights with Xenon light can be identified by the
h ig h voltage st icker .

WARNING
Cont act w ith high-voltage component s of the elect rical system
and improper replacement of gas discharge (Xenon) headlight
bulb s can cause serious personal injury and death .

Xenon bulbs are pressurized and can explode when being
changed.
•
Changing Xenon lamp s requires t he special t raining, instruc -
tion s and equipment .
•
Only an authorized Audi dealer or othe r qualified work shop
should change the bulbs in gas discharge lamp s.

There are parts wi th sharp edges on the open ings and on the bulb
holder s th at can cause serious cut s.

If you must replace the light bulbs yourself, always remember
