8. Press I or v to highlight SET R_HNG.
9. Press 4 or _, to display the Set ILating menu.
10. Press I or T to highlight MPAA ILating, YOUth'I_f ILating, or
'I_f ILating.
11. Press _, to select (or 4 to deselect) the ratings to be blocked.
Blocked ratings will be m_ked with "x"; unblocked ratings will
will be m_ked with "_." All ratings higher than the ones that are
selected ("x") are blocked as well. For example, if you block the
MPAA rating R, programs with the higher ratings NC17 and X
will also be blocked.

12. When you finish selecting the program ratings to be blocked:
• °Io return to the V-Chip menu, press I or v to highlight
BACK TO V-CHIP MENU, ,and then press 4 or _,.

Unblocking
programs
temporarily
When you try to view a program with a ratings block, a message
appears stating that the program has been blocked becmlse the
program's rating exceeds the set limits. °Io temporarily override the
block and view the program, press MUTE and enter your PIN code.
°Io reset your original ratings blocks, turn the °IXf off and then on
_ain.

Blocking unrated movies and programs
Some movies and programs _e not rated. YOUcan use the V-Chip
Control f_ature to block unrated movies _d programs.
To block unrated
movies and programs:
1. Press MENU.
2. Press 4 or _, to highlight the SET UP menu.
3. Press I or v to highlight V-CHIP CONTROL.
4. Press 4 or _, to display the Enter PIN Code screen.
5. Use the CHANNEL
NUMBERS
(0-9) to enter your four-digit
PIN code. After entering the code, the V-Chip Control menu
appears.
6. Press I or v to highlight ENABLE BLOCKING.
