1.
Set the VR4001 (BIAS) to the center position.
2.
Connect the Vacuum Tube Volt Meter between
TP4005 (HOT) and TP4006 (GND).
Adjust FL4001 and VR4001 so that the voltage is
in the specification.

1.
Open the SERVICE MENU. (Refer to SEC1
Service Information.)
2.
Select the G00: AUDIO ADJUST and press the
"SET" button to open the AUDIO ADJUST MENU.
3.
Set the G09 LINE OUT CUE to ON.
<Caution>
During this adjustment, do not close the Service Menu.
The setting of G09 LINE OUT CUE will be reset to
OFF automatically.
4.
Playback the CUE level master tape (25M), and
adjust VR800 (PB LEVEL) so that the LINE OUT
CH1 level is in the specification.
5.
Close the menu.
<Caution>
1.
Clean the A/C head, before this adjustment is
executed.
2.
Confirm the tape path condition around A/C head.

1.
Open the SET UP MENU by pressing the "MENU"
button.
2.
Select the "716 REC CUE" item and set it to the
CH1. After that press the "SET" button.
3.
Supply a 1kHz, 0dBu sinewave signal into the
AUDIO IN (Both CH1 and CH2) and record the
input signal for few minutes.
4.
Playback the just recorded portions and confirms
that the AUDIO OUT (CH1) is in the specification.
5.
If it is not, slightly adjust VR802 and then repeat
step 3 to 5 until it is in the specification.
