Hook replacement
Use the following procedure to safely remove the
hook cartridge for hook replacement
Be aware of pinching
CAUTION
hazards while handling the
hook cartridge.
Open the arms at least 1 foot from their fully closed
position. Ensure that the hooks are fully retracted.
Shut off the vehicle engine and remove the key.
Open the access cover (A) on the outside of the arm
and disconnect the rod end of the cylinder from the
hook cartridge.
Remove the six bolts (B) from the inside face of the
cartridge then remove the cartridge
