Technical Procedures Overview

The technical procedures section guides the technician by using a step-by-step
process. This section details the procedures necessary to perform specific maintenance
for the system, such as priming the Docker detergent pump and reprogramming
software. Check the table of contents for a complete list of procedures.
Procedure 5.0 – Running with Errors
The Neptune Ultra System is designed to
shut down when there are errors for User
and Patient safety. Certain errors will
completely disable the unit for use. This can
present an issue with Technician
troubleshooting. Due to the design, the unit
has the ability to be put into a state to "Run
With Errors". THIS IS FOR TECHNICIAN
ACCESS ONLY. Follow the procedure
below to begin using the unit after errors
occur for troubleshooting purposes.
1. Technician Mode can be accessed from any error screen, or any screen that when
the Vacuum System On/Off button is depressed won't turn on the Pump. From this
screen, press and hold Vacuum System soft key and press "Up" arrow, "Down" arrow
to enter "Tech Mode"
2. Press the soft key next to the
Menu.
