General

Series A7000 locks can be connected to an
alarm or security system via a signal box
originally from the Gator range.
A system cable with an appropriate adapter
for the plug-in terminal is needed to connect
the "Gator Signal plus".
The control and signal functions are only available if the power supply is established via
the signal box. This can be done via a 12 V DC power supply regulated by the customer or
via our 12 V DC plug-in power supply, which is optionally available.
Always adhere to the following sequence for installation:
•Preparation for installation
•Wiring / installation of the cables
•Disconnection of the power supply
•Configuration of the IOs
•Functional test of the signal and control functions

The box is responsible for electrical
isolation as well as filtering and regulation
of the customer's power supply. Relays are
used for potential isolation on the output
side, and optocouplers are used on the
input side.
