    & ring and place the spindle flat on a table edge. Zero is about facing down. Read the number that now appears on top of the dial. Wittkopp dials & rings show “45“. Other dials & rings show e.g. “43“ or “50“.

    Combination lock 7800 Installation Instructions Fig. 3: Fitting • Only use the delivered 3 mounting screws (M6 or US 1/4 20G BSW) and fasten as usual (torque approximately 3.5 Nm). An independent loosening of the screws has to be avoided. Recommendation: use liquid safety agent.

    Combination lock 7800 Installation Instructions 3 Opening • Use the Opening index (see Operating instructions Fig. 1, p. 2). Open with factory code “50”*. Turn LEFT and pass “50” three times and stop exactly on “50” on the Opening index the fourth time.

    Combination lock 7800 Installation Instructions 4 Changing • Changing to a new factory combination, for example 10 – 20 – 30. • Use the Changing index (see Operating instructions p. 3). Before setting a new combination, open the safe door and close the lock (bolt extended).
  • Page 6 Combination lock 7800 Installation Instructions 5 What if … …accidentally the cam got moved before installation: As long as the factory code “50” has not been changed with the change key, the lock can be prepared for mounting following the steps below: Hold the lock so that you look at the cover and the bolt is to the right.

Make sure the shaft is seated all the way in the square hole. Cover the screw with the label. Install the lock first according to the installation instructions.
