The mitre saw can be used for sawing wood or
materials similar to wood, plastics, aluminum
and round or irregularly shaped material.
WARNING
product damage due to a short circuit, never
immerse your charger or battery pack in fluid
or allow a fluid to flow inside them. Corrosive
or conductive fluids, such as seawater, certain
industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach-
containing products, etc. can cause a short
circuit.
MAIN SWITCH (FIG. 21)
The main switch has a lock-off lever that must
be moved to the left to be able to depress the
main switch. Grasp the main switch with your
fingers and move the lock-off lever to the left.
Then pull the main switch to activate the saw.
Release the main switch to stop the saw.
This miter saw must be used only with the
battery packs and chargers listed below:

LED SHADOW LIGHT (FIG. 22)

The LED shadow light system is controlled by
the shadow light switch and is independent
from the miter saw main switch.
If the shadow light is turned on only by pressing
the shadow light switch without activating the
main switch, light will be on for 1 minute, then
turn off automatically.
To cut through an existing pencil line on a piece
of wood, turn on the shadow light system, then
pull down on the operating handle to bring the
saw blade close to the wood. The shadow of
the blade will appear on the wood.
