5.Connect one end of the hose to the adapter on
the nitrogen bottle;
6. Connect the other end of hose to the valve C
after having removed its cap;
7. Without applying force, tighten knob A until
pressure appears on manometer (if the
accumulator has been charged);
8. Open slowly the valve E of the nitrogen
bottle and keep it open until it reaches a
pressure slightly higher than the required
value, then close the valve E;
9. Unscrew the knob A and decompress
residual pressure from the PC250 equipment
with the bleed valve B;
10. Disconnect the hose from the valve C;
11. Close the bleed valve B, place the cap to the valve C and wait several minutes for the
pressure stabilization;
12. Screw again the knob A for checking of pressure in accumulator (follow the pressure
specified in the tables of technical characteristics of the corresponding hydraulic station in
section 10.1)
13. Reduce the pressure to the required, using the bleed valve B, and then after reaching the
required value, close the bleed valve B;
14. Disassemble the equipment observe
-Unscrew the knob A completely without effort;
-Open the bleed valve B;
-Unscrew nut D;
-Check with soapy water that there are no leaks coming out from the filling valve of the
accumulator;
-Screw the protection cap on filling valve of hydraulic accumulator.
Now the accumulator hydraulic accumulator is ready for operation.
7.3.3 Accumulator pressure check
1. The valve F of EFO release and valve G of manual release must be open to drain oil from
the hydraulic accumulator;
2. Remove the protective cap from the gas valve of accumulator;
3. Before mounting the PC250 equipment, ensure that knob A is unscrewed, that bleed
valve B is closed, valve C cap is screwed;
4. Tighten by hand the knurled nut D, set the PC250 equipment on gas valve of accumulator;
5. Unscrew the knob A without effort until pressure appears.
6. If the value is correct, disassemble the PC250 equipment observe the following precautions:
- Unscrew the knob A fully without effort;
- Open the bleed valve B;
- Tighten the knurled nut D for complete disassemble of the PC250 equipment;
7. If the value is lower than required, repeat the charging process in 7.3.2
