Vacuum Shoe and Hose
NOTE: Vacuum Shoe and hose flush should be done
daily after use. Place machine over drainage area
before beginning.
1. Remove recovery tank.
2. Insert water hose into vacuum hose.
3. With water pressure on high, rinse out hose and
vacuum shoe. Water should flow freely from
vacuum shoe.
4. If there is noticeable build up of debris in the
vacuum shoe, and it is not removed with normal
flushing of the vacuum shoe and hose, separate
vacuum shoe into 2 halves and clean. Separate
vacuum shoe by removing 12 nut and bolts and
pulling 2 halves apart. When putting the vacuum
shoe halves back together, put medium strength
thread locker on all screws.
Do not allow any water into the vacuum port.

Vacuum Shoe Cleaning

1. Unplug the power cord and move the machine to a
safe level area.
2. To remove the vacuum shoe assembly, spin the
deck around 180 degrees so vacuum shoe is at the
front of the machine,
3. Tip the machine back and let it rest at approxi-
mately a 45 degree angle.
4. Remove the hose from the top of the vacuum shoe.
5. Release (2) levers. (as shown below)
