2. In the Finder, select the camera. The camera is displayed with a wrench icon because it is in service mode.

Resetting the camera to factory settings deletes the camera settings as well as vision apps created by the
user, if applicable. You will need to set up the camera again and reinstall the vision apps you want to use.
The standard vision apps Classifier and Object Detector are retained. After rebooting, the camera is in
runtime mode. Note that by default, the camera attempts to obtain an IP address from a DHCP server on the

Resetting the camera to factory settings via the reset button
If you have forgotten the password of the administrator account, reset the camera to factory settings using the
reset button located in the reset opening.
CAUTION! As the camera housing may get hot depending on the operating conditions there
may be risk of burns.

Wear protective gloves when touching a heated camera.

Provide sufficient heat dissipation so that the device temperature does not exceed 55 °C
(131 °F).
1. Press and hold the reset button located in the reset opening on the back of the camera for approx. 9 s in
runtime mode until the camera restarts (hardware reset) and the status LED lights up orange. If you press
the reset button directly when starting / powering up the camera, this process will take less time.
2. Release the reset button and wait until it flashes orange.
3. Press the reset button again. When doing so, the LED first lights up blue and then flashes blue quickly
during the reset.
4. Do not release the reset button until the camera restarts. During this, the LED lights up green.
