3. Enter a new IP address for the camera. The IP address of the camera must be in the same subnet as the
network adapter.
4. Enter the subnet mask of the network adapter.
5. Enter the administrator password.
6. Click on "Apply" to change the IP address permanently.

You can now log in to the camera via "Connect".

If the camera is running in service mode, changing the IP address will only have an effect as long as the
camera is running in service mode.
The IP address can be changed subsequently in the IDS NXT cockpit if necessary, see
in theIDS NXT cockpitmanual.

6.5 Network configuration in IDS NXT cockpit

After logging onto a IDS NXT camera, you will see the "Dashboard", which displays various device information.
To set the network parameters select "Application > Network".

The "Obtain IP address automatically (DHCP)" option is activated by default. It is recommended to keep this
setting.
·
You can use the device without DHCP and assign a static IP address to the device (not recommended).
