DELAY
Delay Variations
1 NORMAL
Provides a normal delay effect.
2 WARM
Produces a warm delay sound with a restrained high
end.
3 HOLD
Allows you to record what is played, and play that back
repeatedly.

(1) Delay Button [DELAY]
Turns the delay on and off. Indicator is lit when the effect is
on.
* You can also use a foot switch to turn this on and off (p. 21).
(2) Feedback Knob [FEEDBACK]
Adjusts the amount of delay repeat.
* This is not functional when HOLD is selected as the variation.
(3) Level Knob [LEVEL]
Adjusts the volume of delay sound.
(4) Tap Button [TAP]
When NORMAL or WARM is selected as the delay variation,
you can set the delay time in the range of 0-1.8 seconds.
When you press [TAP] twice in time with the tempo of the
song being performed, the [TAP] indicator flashes at the
tempo at which the button is pressed, and the delay time is
set.
* The interval at which the [TAP] indicator flashes shows the
approximate tempo.
You can also use a foot switch to input the taps. However,
you must use the optional PCS-31 connector cord and
connect the foot switch as shown below.

+ You can set delay times that are difficult to set with tap
input.
f 1. Hold down [TAP] and press [DELAY].
[TAP] and [DELAY] begin to flash rapidly.
In this state the delay time is 0 msec.
| 2. Each press of [TAP] lengthens the delay time by one
millisecond.
When [TAP] is held down, the setting changes
continuously, lengthening the delay time.
If you hold down [TAP], then each press of [DELAY]
shortens the delay time by one millisecond.
When [TAP] and [DELAY] is held down, the setting
changes continuously, shortening the delay time.
When the setting is made, the [TAP] and [DELAY]
indicators flash in syne with the delay time.
Press [DELAY] one more time to complete the
setting.
