OPERATING THE VIDEO COMPONENTS
Press the POWER switch to the ON position, and turn on the power
to the other video components you wish to use.

1. Use the INPUT SELECTOR switches to select the desired video

2. If the TAPE 2 MONITOR switch is ON, press to turn it to OFF.
3. When there is no component connected to the VIDEO ADAPTOR
jack, set the VIDEO ADAPTOR switch to the OFF position.
4. Operate the appropriate video component to play back the program
source.
5. Adjust the volume and tone controls as desired.
e When sound is monaural, turn the DSSS switch ON to enjoy
simulated stereo.

VIDEO RECORDING
You can record audio and video from VCR 3, VOP/COV, TV, VIDEO,
on VCR 1 and VCR 2.
You can also select the video recording source with the REC SELECTOR.

INPUT SELECTOR
When not using the REC SELECTOR
You can record video that has been adjusted by the enhancer, or video
that has passed through a video adaptor.
1. Make sure the SOURCE indicator in the display section is lit.
© When the SOURCE indicator is out, press the B
and <@ REC
SELECTOR switches at the same time to light it.
2. Select the source you want to record from (VCR 3, VDP, TV,
VIDEO), with the INPUT SELECTOR switches.
3. Load the VCR 1 (or VCR 2) with a tape for recording.
4. Start recording on VCR 1 (or VCR 2).
¢ For VCR 1 or VCR 2, select a line input (externa! input).
5. Start playback
on the component
selected
with the INPUT
SELECTOR switches.
When using the REC SELECTOR
You can select a source and different video recording source with the
INPUT SELECTOR switches. For example, you can enjoy a video on
VCR 3 while recording a video disc. In this case, video recording of a
picture that has been adjusted by the enhancer or passed through a
video adaptor is not possible.
1. Select the source you want to record from (VCR 3, VDP, TV,
VIDEO) with the REC SELECTOR switches.

2. Load VCR 1 {or VCR 2) with a tape for recording.
3. Start recording on VCR 1 (or VCR 2).
© For VCR 1 or VCR 2, select a line input (external input).
4. Start
playback
on
the
component
selected
with
the
REC

¢ Do not select the component that you are using to rec ord video
on {VCR 1 or VCR 2) with the INPUT SELECTOR.
COPYING VIDEO TAPES
The procedure for copying from VCR 1 to VCR 2, and from VCR 2 to
VCR 1 when using REC SELECTOR, and when not using it, are the same
as 'previously mentioned.
