Function Check
Perform the function check for modulating actuators after calibration with
a point test according to the following table:

After successful completion of the function check, the actuator is ready
for normal operation.
Operation
The actuator accepts a 0 to 10 Vdc or a 4 to 20 mA control signal and a
microprocessor produces a stroke proportional to the input signal.
In the event of a power failure or with no control voltage, the damper
actuator holds its position.
If the application requires a reverse-acting, modulating actuator (a control
signal of 0V corresponds to the valve being closed, and 10V to the valve
being open), then the Function Module (VA-AZX61.1) must be ordered
and installed in the VA-045PNX024P with DIP switch 1 set to ON.
Position Indication
The actuator position indicated by the position output signal "U" is
calculated by a potentiometer that sends a feedback signal via the U
terminal.
