4. KDS-100 Configuration
If you leave the windows blank or select "NONE",
the status call is not assigned to any function keys
and the Status List 2 display will not appear.
The first seven characters of KDS-100 appear on
the display. The following characters will not be
displayed.

Menu Screen Settings

This command allows you to configure the KDS-100
display. The following window appears when executing
the command from the Menu.
Screen Lockout: This command allows you to
control the Menu mode of the KDS-100. The Menu
mode appears when the checkbox is selected.
If the checkbox is not selected, the Menu mode will
not appear on the display and you cannot adjust the
following configurations on the Menu key.

Status Key: This command allows you to make a
Status call from the Menu mode of the KDS-100.
This enables you to assign the Status call to function
key [1] and display it in Menu mode by selecting the
checkbox.

Selective call Key: This command allows you to
make a Selective call from Menu mode of the
KDS-100. This enables you to assign a Status call to
the function key [2] and display it in Menu mode by
selecting the checkbox.

GPS Key: This command allows you to execute
GPS commands from Menu mode in the KDS-100.
This enables you to assign a Status call to function
key [3] and display it in Menu mode by selecting the
checkbox.

Two types of Menu displays appear if the "GPS Key"
checkbox is selected.
GPS OK: GPS device is attached and is ready for
use.
GPS NG: GPS device is not attached and is not
available.
Note: You cannot execute GPS commands unless the GPS
function is already set up and available.

Reset Mode: This command allows you to control
the Reset mode of the KDS-100. You can enter
Reset mode by pressing MENU and function key [5]
at the same time, if the checkbox is selected.

You cannot enter Reset Mode if the checkbox is not
selected.
Return Timer: This command allows you to set the
time from when the operation display switches to
when each mode is displayed.
If you do not perform any operation on the operational
display after switching from each mode display, each
mode display appears again. The "Return Timer" will
allow you to set the wait time.
Set the duration from 1 to 180 seconds, in steps of 1
second, by pressing the ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ and ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ keys on the right of the
display. You can enter a value directly, but you cannot
enter a decimal value or a number that is out of range.
OFF may appear when clicking the buttons. The display
will not reset automatically if you select OFF. Execute
key operations to restore the display.
Enter 0 to set the display time to OFF.

Emergency Information

This tab allows you to configure the KDS-100 display.
The following window appears when executing the
command from the Menu.
・ Emergency Fleet
Set the Fleet number that transmits the emergency call.
You can enter a value from 100 to 349 directly, but you
cannot enter a number that is out of range.
Combine this Fleet number with the following
Emergency ID to set the base.
▪ Emergency ID
Set the ID number that transmits the emergency call.
You can enter a value from 1000 to 4999 directly, but
you cannot enter a number that is out of range.
Combine this ID number with the above "Emergency
Fleet" to set the base.
