3. KDS-100 Operation
[3] [↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ PAGE]: This key allows you to scroll up the
status Message List. You can also use ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ to scroll up
the list.
[4] [SEND TO]: This key allows you to go to the
recipient selection display.
Note: The recipient at the top of the display may not
appear, due to the configuration of the KPG-71D
4.2.3.3. Display}
T T T T Recipient selection display
The following display appears when selecting
[SEND TO] from the Status call display.
The status message appears at the top line of the
display. The currently selected recipient is
highlighted.
The following lines are the recipients to whom you
can send messages too.
Select a recipient by moving the cursor up or down,
to highlight your desired recipient.
∧ ∧ ∧ ∧
You can use the
[1]
[4] on this screen.
Use the ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ and ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ keys to select the recipient. Press
the ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ key to scroll up or the ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ key to scroll down. You
can scroll down the display by pressing ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ when a
small arrow appears at the bottom of the display.
Below are the functions of function keys [1] – [4].
[1] [SEND]: This key allows you to send the
selected message to the selected recipient. Confirm
the recipient and the status message before
pressing this key.
[2] [↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ PAGE]: This key allows you to scroll down the
recipient list. You can also use ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ to scroll down the
list.
[3] [↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ PAGE]: This key allows youi to scroll up the
recipient list. You can also use ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ to scroll up the list.
[4] [SEND TO]: This key allows you to go to the
status message selection display.

not appear, due to the configuration of the KPG-71D

The following display appears when transmission
failure occurs for any reason.

You can use two keys on this display.
Menu key: Return to the Menu mode display.
[RETRY] key: Try to send the message again. If
the transmission fails again, the display switches
to the transmission display again.

Making a Selective call from Menu mode

You can make a Selective call by selecting the recipient
in Menu mode.
Note: You may not be able to make a Selective call from the
Menu mode due to the "Sel. Call Key Type" configuration of the
KPG-71D.

The following screen appears when selecting
[SELCALL].
You can use the ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ and ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ keys and function keys [1]
– [3] on this display.
Use the ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ and ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ keys to select the recipient. Press
the ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ key to scroll up or the ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ key to scroll down.
You can scroll down the display by pressing
when a small arrow appears at the bottom of
the display

call to the selected recipient. Confirm the recipient
before pressing this key.
[2] [↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ PAGE]: This key allows you to scroll down the
recipient list. You can also use ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ to scroll down the
list.
[3] [↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ PAGE]: This key allows youi to scroll up the
recipient list. You can also use ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ to scroll up the list.
Transmission begins by pressing [KEY] and the
following display appears.

Select [UNKEY] to cancel the transmission.
Note: Toggle or Momentary operation can be programmed
to [KEY] and [UNKEY].
