The display switches to the Selective call display
immediately. Select [KEY] to try to make a Selective
call again.

3.3.2.4. Status List mode

This mode is for Status calls only. Register the
messages you often use, to make a status call
easier. Although you can select any status
message and any recipient, you cannot select a
Selective call.
Note: The Status List mode may not appear due to STATUS
LIST 1 and STATUS LIST 2 configurations of the KPG-71D.

Display description

Status List mode has two screens.
You can toggle these two displays by pressing SEL.
The screen name appears on the top line: STATUS
LIST 1 or STATUS LIST 2.
The currently selected recipient appears on the following
line. You can send a message to the destination ID that
is displayed after "Send to". The message, which will be
sent by pressing the function keys appear at the bottom
of the display.
Note: You can change the status message shown by
adjusting the STATUS LIST 1 and STATUS LIST 2
configurations of the KPG-71D. The display may not switch
due to these configurations.

Operations at the Status List mode

The operations at STATUS LIST 1 and STATUS LIST 2
are the same. You can use the ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ and ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ keys, function
keys [1] – [5], and SEL.
∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ and ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ keys: These keys allow you to select a
recipient. The recipient and the ID displayed after "Send
to" changes by pressing this key.
Function keys: This key allows you to send a pre-
registered message. Transmission starts immediately
after the function keys are pressed.

SEL (Select) key: This key allows you to toggle
between STATUS LIST 1 and STATUS LIST 2.
Following is a summary of the operations in Status List
mode.
1 Select a recipient by using the ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ and ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ keys.
2 Search for a message to send by pressing the SEL
key.
3 Press the function keys to send the message.

Transmission failure occurs

The following display appears when transmission failure
occurs for any reason.
You can use two keys on this screen:
Menu key: Return to the Menu mode display.
[RETRY] key: Try to send the message again.

3.3.2.5. Message List mode

Message List mode allows you to view a list of all
the received messages. You can respond to any
messages without selecting the recipient. Although
you can send the message to any recipient, you
cannot send a message to a recipient that is not
stored in the KDS-100. You can select a Status call
or a Selective call.
The maximum number of stored messages varies,
depending on the size of the messages. It ranges
from 76 to 376 messages.
Display description
Message List mode has two displays. The titles of
messages are displayed as a list on both displays.
