The first 7 characters are the short title of the
Status call and will be used for the function key
display in Status List mode.
TX Inhibit: This column allows you to configure
the KDS-100 display. When selecting "YES", the
status call in the column will not be displayed on
the KDS-100. Therefore you cannot send the
status call. If you select "NO", the status call in
the column will be displayed on the KDS-100.
The message receipt display appears if you
select "YES". You can also assign the column to
the function keys in Status List mode.
About Emergency Status - Alert Enable: The
checkbox "Emergency Status - Alert Enable"
located below the diagram allows you to
configure the operation when emergency calls 98

transmitted.
z Tabs in Status list window
There are four tabs: AUX, Quick Status Response
Keys, Status List 1, and Status List 2. You can switch
the window by clicking these tabs and go to each
configuration display.

z AUX
This tab allows you to configure the AUX of the
KDS-100. The following window appears when
clicking the tab.
I/O port has four ports. Set each port for input or
output. De-bounce Time becomes available when
assigning the emergency status to an I/ O port
except for status numbers 95 to 99. Emergency
Delay Time is available for the port that the
emergency status is assigned too. When you set
status number 95 high and status number 20 low,
Emergency Delay Time becomes available. If the
status number is configured to the input port, the
KDS-100 recognizes the smaller status number as
the default value. Make a Status call if the status
number is not at the default value when turning on
the KDS-100. When turning on the KDS-100, status
number 20 will be transmitted if you set status 20
high, status 10 low, and the port for status 20
(High). When leaving a high or low value blank, the
default status number will not be set.

AUX B
KDS-100 has two sets of four ports: AUX A and
AUX B. You can use each port for input/ output.
AUX A: Set AUX A for input or output.
AUX B: Set AUX B for input or output.
When setting for input, you can input high/ low-level
signals from external devices The KDS-100
receives the signals and outputs the status
message that corresponds to the input signals to
the base. This function allows you to enter data into
the sensor of a car or the manual switch and send
the data to a KDS-100 automatically. When setting
for output, the KDS-100 receives the status
message data and creates a high or low-level
analog signal correspondind to the received status
number during the decoding. You can output these
signals to other devices through the port.
AUX Status Number
Allocate the status numbers to each port (8 ports)
of AUX A/ AUX B.
The function of the input windows varies due to the
operational configurations of AUX A and AUX B.
When the configurations for AUX A and AUX B are
for input:
Configure the status message corresponding to the
input signals from external devices and transmit the
status number selected at the input window
corresponding to the high or low-level signals.
When the configurations for AUX A and AUX B are
for output:
Set the status message that outputs when
receiving the signals. When receiving the selected
status message at the input window, output the
high or low-level analog signals.
The Status number list appears on the left when
clicking the input window.
{Refer to 4.2.3.3. Status
