・ Test (Mode)
You can configure the MSK output level by selecting
"Program" and then "Test Mode" if the checkbox is
selected.
{Refer to 4.2.3.4.}
You do not need to adjust
the level here.
・ Firmware Programming (Mode)
You can update the Firmware used in the KDS-100.
You can enter Firmware Programming Mode by
pressing MENU and the ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ key at the same time, if the
checkbox is selected.
Press [FW PRG] to use the Firmware control program
and "FRPO" to update the Firmware.
Note: Deselect this checkbox before delivering the
terminal to the customers.
・ Key Backlight
This tab allows you to control the appearance of the
backlight of the KDS-100 keys. The backlight lights if
this checkbox is selected.
・ TX Data LED
・ RX Data LED
・ New Message LED
You can control the KDS-100 LED, located on the
upper right of the terminal. The LED lights if this
checkbox is selected.
TX Data LED: Lights red when data is transmitted.
RX Data LED: Lights green when data is received.
New Message LED: Lights orange when new data
exists in the KDS-100 memory.
z Data Password
You can lock the data by using a password while
downloading the data from the KDS-100. Enter a
maximum of 6 digits in the input window for the
password. A notice appears when you upload the data
to the KDS-100, if you have set a password.
Click [OK] to finish uploading the data. The password
configuration is complete at this point. The window
appears when attempting to download the configuration
data from the KDS-100 and you are required to enter
your password before downloading.
Enter your password and click [OK]. When you enter
the correct password, downloading continues. If the
password is wrong, an error message appears and you
will be asked for the password again. Click [Cancel] to
abort the download.
The password is not required to upload data. The
password will be invalidated if you do not set the
password correctly when uploading data.

FleetSync

This command allows you to configure the KDS-100
communications. A pull-down menu appears when
selecting "FleetSync" from the Menu. Following are the
descriptions of each command.
・ MDT Settings
Set up FleetSync, the communications parameter, and
GPS.

・ ID List
Set the ID number, Fleet number to use FleetSync.
{Refer to 4.2.3.3. ID List}
・ Status List
Register messages when making a Status call, using
the KDS-100.
{Refer to 4.2.3.3. Status List}
The configuration data window appears when selecting
these commands.
T T T T MDT Settings
This command allows you to configure the KDS-100
display. The following window appears when
selecting the command from the pull-down Menu.
