Recording operation on cassette deck

@ Synchro recording of analog disc play
The cassette deck and turntable can be started simultane-
ously. This cannot be done with remote control.
Synchro recording is not possible during Dual Sound play.
1 Make the preparations for recording.
@ Insert the cassette tape in
deck B.
Tape to be recorded
@ Set the tape
transport direction.
@ Select the tape side(s) to
be recorded.

@® Select the Dolby NR mode.

2 Activate the auto-bias setting

@ After about 45 seconds, setting is completed.
@ When you want to continue using the same
type of tape,
press the [M.CALL ]key and the same bias value as previously
can be set immediately.

3 Adjust the recording level.
@® Playback analog disc.
® Enter the record-
pause mode.

Press the two keys
simultaneously.
@® Adjust the recording level.

DOWN
As a result the indicator lights up to OdB on
occasion.
@® Stop the record.
@ The cassette deck returns to stop condition.
4 Enter the record-pause mode.
MPAUSE
® REC
Press the two keys simultaneously.
5 Start playing the analog disc.
Press the
PLAY/CUT
key of the turntable.
@ Tape recording starts at the same time.
@ When piayback of the turntable is completed, the cassette
deck stops recording and terminates.
To stop midway during operation,
Press the
PLAY/CUT
key of the turntable.
@ When the
J} key of the cassette deck is pressed, the cas-
sette deck stops but the turntable does not stop.
