§-card draw poker is the type of game played.
Before cards are dealt to start each hand, a 1-point ante is automatically
added to the pot from you and the dealer. You add to the pot as the game
progresses and you and dealer place additional bets, but the initial pot always
starts with two points (one each from you and the dealer).
The unit is always the dealer. You can choose from three different types of
dealers, named S. Jack, F. Queen and N. King.
Make your selection
immediately after entering the Poker Game Mode. Remember that F. Queen
likes flushes and N. King prefers straights.
The play of S. Jack has no
identifiable characteristics.
You are abie to "check" on a bet (bet nothing), and checking will be answered
by a bet from the dealer. The dealer never checks or folds in reply to your
check.
You can bet or raise within an amount that is equa! to or smalier than the
number of points you have remaining.
The dealer will never place a bet or raise a bet by an amount that is greater
than the number of points you have remaining. This means that if you bet afl
your points, the most the dealer will do is call the bet. If you run out of points
'on the first round of betting (before you draw cards), the cards are opened
immediately following the draw without a second round of betting.
When you place your initial bet, the dealer replies with a foid, call, or raise.
in the case of a raise, you have the option of calling, folding or raising back.
If you fold, the dealer collects anything in the pot.
If your hand and the dealer's hand are identical, it is a tie, and ail points that
you bet during that hand are returned to you.
You start out with 1,000 points. The game continues until you run out of points
or you accumulate more than 99,999 points. You can also end the game by
pressing the MENU key , HOMEWORLD key or ESC key.
