3.8 Power Supply

The chassis features redundant power supplies. The power modules can be changed without
powering down the system, but only up to the redundancy supported. Standard configuration
supports 3 + 3 redundancy. Up to three modules can be offline for service, although that is not
recommended. New units can be ordered directly from Supermicro or authorized distributors.
These power supplies are auto-switching capable. This feature enables them to automatically
sense the input voltage and operate at a 100-120 V or 180-240 V.

Solid Amber
Off
