REPLACING
A
NEEDLE
Use
only
DC
x
1F needles,
size
11
or
14.
To
replace
the
needle.
1.
Raise
the
needle bar
to
its
highest
position
by
turning the
handwheel away
from
you.
2.
Loosen
the
needle
clamp
screw
with
the
small screw
driver.
Remove
the
old
needle. (Figure
91)
3.
lnsert
the
new
needle,
flat
side
to
the
back.
Slip the
point
of the
needle
down
into
the
hole
of
the
needle
plate;
(Figure
92)
then slide
the
head
of
the
needle
all the way up into
the
needle bar opening.
Tighten the
needle
clamp
screw.
NOTE:
You
will find
it
easier
to
hold the
needle
with the
curved
tweezers
rather
than
with
your
fingers.

REPLACING

LIGHT
BULD
1. Turn
the
power
off,
and
do not attempt
to
replace
the bulb
until it
is
cool
2.
Loosen
both
screws
and remove
the
lamp
cover.
(Figure g3)
3.
Remove
the
old
bulb and
insert
the
new
one.

4.
Replace
the
lamp cover and
tighten both
screws.
