NOTE
PAPER LOADING
During the paper loading procedures, inspect the
printing area for the presence of ink, lint, or other
foreign material. If found, remove according to the
cleaning procedures explained later in this
section.
Paper may be loaded with the printer powered up or
shut down . However, to register the print line to the
paper and align the top of form properly, you must
power up the printer before paper loading .
1.
Raise the top cover. Rotate the platen gap lever to
its open position ( away from the platen ) .
2.
Rotate both tractor locks downward (only one
shown ) . Move the tractors to their respective
outermost positions .
NOTE
This step is only required if changing to a
different width paper or different margin from that
previously used.
