After setting the digital effect mode, reset the fade function.
* White fade: Fades in from a white screen or fades out to a white screen. "(gf)" appears in the upper
left corner of the viewfinder or LCD monitor.

« Wipe fade: The picture opens gradually from the center of a black screen or closes into the center to a
black screen. " [7] " appears in the upper left corner of the viewfinder or LCD monitor.
Fade Out
* Mosaic fade: Fades in from a picture in mosaic or fades out to a picture in mosaic. "MOS.F" appears
in the upper left corner of the viewfinder or LCD monitor.
Note: The subject image, immediately before fading in or out, will be compressed in the horizontal direc-
tion and narrow,
