9.29 Checking the swingarm bearing for play

Preparatory work
Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (0 p. 11)
Place a load on the front of the vehicle .
. / The rear wheel is not in contact with the ground.
Main work
Move the swingarm up and down .

If there is detectable play:
- Change the swingarm bearing. (0 p. 9 1)
Move the swingarm from one si de to the other.

If there is detectable play:
- Change the swingarm bearing. (0 p. 91)
Finishing work
Remove the motorcyc le from the lift stand.

Remove screws

with washer.
Remove the cable ties.
- Take off the frame protectors on both sides.
