Push the warmed up special tool

onto the crankshaft bearing inner race, press
firmly t ogether, and pul l jointly from the crankshaft.
Take off the compensating disk.
Repeat these steps on the opposite side.

Fix the crankshaft in the vise.

Slide on com pensating disk

The compensating disks have a larger diameter than the crankshaft stub.
Ensure that the compensating disks are centered and fi xed with a small
amount of grease.
On ly add the compensating disks on the ignition side.
Heat the cra nkshaft bearing inner race in special tool

and mount together.

Ensure that the new crankshaft bearing inner race is flush.
