Environmental requirements

This section outlines the characteristics of the environment that must be
present at the installation site if AccessNode equipment is to operate within
design specifications.

Temperature

The modular business package meets or exceeds the requirements and
objectives as specified in TR-TSY-000057 (DLC) and TR-NWT-000063
(NEBS):

Atmospheric dust

AccessNode MBP cabinets have been designed with an air filter in the inlet of
the bay that meets the ASHRAE 80% dust arrestant requirements.

Electrostatic discharge (ESD)

AccessNode MBP cabinets and equipment comply with section 4.5.2 of
Bellcore TR-EOP-000063.

Mechanical shock

Vibration in the cabinet equipment area must be limited to a frequency range
of 0.5 to 200 Hz and a G-force magnitude of 0.1 G, according to Bellcore
TR-EOP-000063.
