9. Troubleshooting Guide

9.1. When the Printing Result Is Not as Expected

Depending on the printing conditions, when printing on a dark-colored fabric that involves the formation of
a background with white ink, an undesired printed image may occur.
For problems with printing results, see the solutions below.

If bleeding occurs

Bleeding as shown below.
Causes:
The following are possible causes.
The height of the image size being less than 100 mm,* and the drying time of the white ink being
short.
*If the image size is too small, the proper drying time cannot be ensured after the white ink prints.
The drying time is set to 0 sec.
The design of the image uses a lot of dark colors.
The garment is not pretreated properly.
Large amounts of white ink being ejected. (The intensity is set to 100 instead of the default value of
98.)
Color ink flowing when white ink is set to white solid mode (flood or minimum 100 of brightness).
When the output profile is set to OFF.
Solutions:
Focusing on image quality at the expense of productivity
Set the drying time to 20 seconds.
