3. Maintenance
After cleaning, if washing the Cleaning Liquid and foam etc. attached to surplus have adhered
to the Head, wipe it off with the dry, Cleaning Applicator that does not contain the Cleaning
Liquid. (It is important not to leave wet cleaning fluid on any part of the head after this manual
clean)

Clean the print heads and sides.
Normally, the side surface of the nozzle cover does not need to be cleaned.
If there is ink or dust on the side of the nozzle cover, clean the side of the Nozzle Cover with the
dry, cleaning Applicator that does not contain the Cleaning Liquid.
When cleaning the side of the Nozzle Cover, scrape the dirt along the direction of the arrow in
the figure below and clean it.
IMPORTANT! Do not wipe the protrusion of the Nozzle Cover downward as shown below. The

Clean the left and right ribs on both ends of the carriage.

After cleaning the Nozzle Cover, remove the tray or paper placed under the Head.
Nozzle Cover may come off causing failure.
