Case2: Cleaning without the Cleaning Jig Attached
Before cleaning, be sure to read p.152 "What Not to Do for Cleaning".
1.
Prepare a brand-new Cleaning Applicator and the Cleaning Liquid.
Immerse the Cleaning Liquid into the Cleaning Applicator.
For cleaning, use the Cleaning Applicator containing the Cleaning Liquid and the Cleaning
Applicator not containing the Cleaning Liquid.
IMPORTANT! Be sure to use Cleaning Applicator and Cleaning Liquid dedicated to Ri 1000X.
2.
Clean the nozzle cover surface.
As shown in the figure below, clean along the arrow direction.
IMPORTANT! Be careful not to touch the nozzle with the cleaning applicator.
3.
Clean the stepped portion of the Nozzle surface and the Nozzle Cover.
Wipe off any dirt adhering to the stepped portion of the Nozzle surface and the Nozzle Cover.
Otherwise, it may cause a failure.
Also, be careful not to let the wiped solid ink or lint adhere to the nozzle. It may
clog the nozzle.
