Installing the C20
Installing memory chips
The procedure for installing memory chips is described below:
1. Use the information given in the table above to confirm that the type of
chip you have is correct.
2. Remove the front panel of the CPU by loosening the mouting screws
with a flat-bladed screwdriver. You'll be able to see the CPU's circuit
board.
Caution:
Before opening the CPU, always be sure that the power supply to the C20
has been turned OFF.

3. Insert the RAM or EPROM chip into the 28-pin IC socket on the lower
left corner of the circuit board.
4. Set the DIP switch to the correct setting for the type memory chip you
have installed. For this, refer to the table on the previous page.
