Changing Oil-Manual Transmission
1. Filler Plug
2. Dipstick
3. Drain Plug
1. Force grease into the clutch release bearing by
turning the grease cup cap, Figure 71, clockwise
one-half turn. If the tractor has been subjected to
continuous loader operation, turn the cap one
full turn.

2. Filler Plug
2. Remove the drain plug, Figure 69, and allow the
oil to drain.
3.
Replace the drain plug and refill the transmission
through the filler plug, Figure 69.
4.
Start the engine and check for oil leaks.
NOTE: The manual shift transmission is not equip-
ped with an oil filter.
POWER REVERSING TRANSMISSION
(Change Oil and Filter Every 300 Hours)
Use the same procedure as above. In addition:
1.
Remove and replace the transmission oil filter,
Figure 70.
LUBRICATING CLUTCH RELEASE BEARING
The 6 x 4 manual transmission clutch release bearing
should be lubricated every 50 hours.
