3. SKID STEER & TRACTOR HOOK-UP
A crushing hazard exists when hooking-up attachments. DO NOT allow anyone to stand be-
tween the Skid Steer/Tractor and the attachment itself. DO NOT operate hydraulic controls
while someone is near the Skid Steer/Tractor or attachment.

3.1 Hook-Up with Skid Steer Style Hitch

Make sure Skid Steer Hitch Plate is properly attached to . It must be secured under the top
angle bar and locking handles must be locked down with locking pins extending fully through
the bottom slots. An improperly attached can fall resulting in serious injury and or death.
1. If needed, pull locking handles up on the Skid
Steer Hitch plate until locking pins are raised
up and ready for hook-up.
2. Carefully drive up to the Grapple making sure
the hitch plate on the Skid Steer arms is
parallel with the Grapple hitch plate.
3. Rotate top of Skid Steer tilt arms slightly
forward.
4. Place top of Skid Steer hitch plate under the
top angled bar on the Grapple.
5. Slowly lift Skid Steer hitch up until top angle
bar and Grapple hitch plate have come
together.
6. Rotate top of Skid Steer hitch plate back to
align bottom sots in the Grapple with locking
pins in the Skid Steer hitch plate.
7. Push lock handles on Skid Steer hitch down
so that the pins go through the bottom slots of
the Grapple hitch plate and handles lock
down.

3.2 John Deer 300-500 Hitch Style

1. Lower John Deere hitch plate down as fas as
possible and tilt forward.
2. Lock the upper attachment bar into the upper
hooks.
3. Lift the loader up and tilt back until the lower
attachment pins can be secure to the loader
with lynch pins.
