ASSEMBLY DEALER SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS The Bush Hog DHP8, DHP10 and the DHP12 pull-type discs are perfectly matched for agricultural utility tractor having 45 to 80 drawbar horsepower. They have applications in seed bed preparation, soil pulverization, and tillage on smaller farms, ranches, construction sites, race tracks, rodeo grounds, nurseries, reclamation sites, and sod farms.

The power required to operate an implement is determined by the tractor PTO horsepower. For most operating conditions, implement requires a tractor with at least 40 hp for DHP8, 45 hp for DHP10 and 55 hp for DHP12. Operating the implement with a tractor that does not have adequate power may damage the tractor engine.

8.4 Disc Blade Replacement When replacing notched disc blades, assemble he disc blades in a spiral pattern. Order 3/8” thick washer(s) from your nearest Bush Hog Dealer if axle nut(s) runs out of threads before the disc blades are tight on the axle.
