Do not step off sideways.
Always face the stepladder
when using it.
Do not stand on the top two
steps of a stepladder without a
platform and handrail.
Do not stand on the top three
steps of a lean-to ladder.
Do not stand on any of the
steps on the extension ladder!

ladder section at the top of the
freestanding ladder must not
be stepped on. This section is
only meant to lean against.

Check that the surface under

Locking mechanisms that are
not operated automatically
should be checked and secured
before use.

correctly connected.
