2. Clean the spark arrester screen with commercial
solvent.
3. Examine the spark arrester screen for wear and
damage. Replace the spark arrester screen if it is
necessary.

To do a check of the air filter
1. Remove the knob (A) and the air filter cover (B).

2. Remove the air filter (C).
3. Clean the air filter and the air filter cover with soap
water.
4. Let the air filter and the air filter cover become dry.
5. Install the air filter, the air filter cover and the knob.
To clean the dust extractor
It is important to clean the dust extractor to prevent
circulation of dangerous dust. Always clean the dust
extractor before it is moved from the work area.
• Clean the external surface with a moist cloth.
• Clean the filters and the dust extractor in applicable
area.
• Clean the inner surfaces of the prefilter with a dust
extractor. Always use dust extractors with HEPA
filter and a soft brush to not do damage to the filter.
• Do not use water on electrical components.
• Do not clean the dust extractor with compressed air
or water.
• Do not put tools on the surface of the filter, it can
cause damage to the filter.
• Do not make a hole in the HEPA filter, it can cause a
health risk.
To clean the prefilter
Only use Husqvarna filters for best performance and
filtration efficiency.
Clean the prefilter before you change the Longopac,
when the operation is completed or when the suction

2. Close the inlet with the inlet valve.
3. Let the dust extractor make vacuum for 5 seconds,
then push and hold down the Jet Pulse handle for
5 seconds. Do this step 5 times. It is important to
let the dust extractor make vacuum after you release
the Jet Pulse handle.
4. If the suction continues to be unsatisfactory, replace
the filter.
5. Replace the Longopac when the prefilter is clean,

1. Stop the product, refer to

2. Make sure that the fan fully stops before you open
the dust extractor.
3. Loosen the 3 toggle fasteners and remove the top.
4. Remove the plastic bag from the new filter.
5. Lift out the prefilter from the dust extractor and
position it carefully in the plastic bag.
WARNING:

6. Install the new prefilter.
To replace the HEPA filter

The HEPA filter will break if you clean it.
