• Adult Handles: These are a
useful adjunct to MyWay+
to enable carers to safely
push and steer the device.
See section 11.1 'Adult
Handles' for
full instructions.
• Headrest: If the user has
limited head control and/
or fluctuating muscle
tone, ensure the headrest
is in position prior to
transferring the user into
MyWay+. See section
11.3 'Headrest' for full
instructions.
• Complex Headrest: If the
user has limited head
control and/or fluctuating
tone, ensure the headrest
is in position prior to
transferring the user into
MyWay+. See section
11.2 'Headrest' for full

• User Handles: If the user
continually seeks out
the frame in order to
hold onto the tubing, it is
recommended that the
user handles used. See
section 11.4 'User handles'
for full instructions.
• Complex user handles: If
the user has low tone in
their trunk and requires
upper limb support to help
with head control and/
or support of their upper
limbs to help improve
lower limb movement
then the complex user
handles may be used. See
section 11.5 'Complex user

• Saddle: This may be
required to perch the
user prior to attaching
the harness to the frame.
However, once positioned,
the user may not require the
saddle. This can be removed

own weight with additional
support from the harness
and groin straps. See
section 11.7 'Saddle' for
full instructions.
• Saddle Drop: If the user
tends to keep their thighs
and knees close together,
the drop can be attached
to the saddle while the user
is in the frame. See section
11.8 'Saddle Drop' for full
instructions.
• Ankle Guides: Apply
to guide lower limb
movement away from
scissoring or asymmetric
stepping pattern. The
guides may be applied
further up the lower limb
for more proximal support.
See section 11.9 'Ankle
Guides' for full instructions.
• Hoist straps: If the user
requires hoisting into and
out of the frame, use the
hoisting straps. See section
11.10 'Hoisting straps' for
