The "Memory Stick" icon
([Removable Disk] or [Sony
MemouStick]) does not appear on
the computer screen.
Symptom Cause and/or Corrective Actions
+Slide the POWER s_itch repeatedly to select the PLAY/EDIT mode on
your camcorder.
+Insert a "Memory Stick" into your camcorder.
+ Disconnect the USB device other than the keyboard, the mouse, and the
camcorder from the conlputer.
+Set [USB-PLY/EDTI to [STD-USBI in the (STANDARD SET)
menu. (p. 83)
• The computer does not recognize the "Memo U Stick" during camcorder
operation such as tape playhack or editing.
+Finish camcorder operation before connecting the camcorder to the
computer.
