Typological Scheme

To assist the installer, typological scheme have been prepared which clarify how the Athena heat
pump range fits into the heating and cooling systems most frequently requested by the market.
It should be noted that these scheme are merely illustrative and do not in any way constitute definitive
thermo-technical design and dimensioning.
In the diagrams, moreover, it is possible to identify various components to complete the system that
are available in the Tekno Point catalogue and whose technical characteristics can be examined in
detail in the dedicated documentation available on our website.

Testing the refrigerant lines for leaks

Checking the refrigerant circuit for leaks
R32 is an air-displacing, non-toxic gas. Uncontrolled release of refrigerant may result in breathing
difficulties and asphyxiation.
Check the connections for refrigerant leaks
• All flared connections on the refrigerant lines between the indoor and outdoor unit.
• All soldered joints and screw connections on the refrigerant lines in the indoor and outdoor

Installation guide

1. Install 4 pieces shockproof rubber pad under the fit of the unit
2. If the unit works with a water tank, the vertical distance between the unit and the water tank should be less
than 6 m. and the horizontal distance should be less than 20m
3. Connect the condensate drainage connector to the hole at the bottom sheet.
