Using Optional Accessories
The following optional accessories are available to help you use the IPS-760.
Power sources
In addition to alkaline batteries, you can use the following power sources:
¢« NP-IPS76 rechargeable battery pack
¢ Car battery (12/24 V), using the DCC-E260HG car battery cord
Using the rechargeable battery pack
You can use the Sony NP-IPS76 rechargeable battery pack (not supplied) to supply
power to your unit. The unit can operate continuously for about 3 hours on the NP-
IPS76 battery. Charge the battery when using it for the first time. To charge the
battery. use the charger that came with the BC-IPS76K rechargeable battery kit
package. For details on use of the battery, refer to the manual that came with the
BC-IPS76K rechargeable battery kit.
Using a car battery (12/24 V)
You can use the battery of your car to supply power to the unit. When using a car
battery, you need to use the Sony DCC-E260HG car battery cord. For details on
use of a vehicle battery. refer to the manuals that came with the car battery cord,
etc.

When using a vehicle battery to power the unit, make sure the unit is turned off
before you turn the ignition on or off.
12/24 V CAR BATTERY
Use the Sony DCC-E260HG car battery cord (not supplied). and connect the unit
DC IN 6V jack to the cigarette lighter socket of a car.
