You need six R6 (size AA) alkaline batteries. To install the alkaline batteries:
Using the supplied utility key, turn the BATTERY RELEASE screw in
the direction of the arrow to the "." mark until the battery magazine
pops out.

Insert the six R6 (size AA) alkaline batteries (not supplied), using the
illustration inside the battery magazine as a guide to the correct
orientation of the batteries.
