This section explains how to pian a route and navigate to your destination using that
route.
The unit can navigate to a destination via your planned route. To plan a route, you
need to determine your starting point, the points you are planning to pass, and the
final destination (see the figure below). This navigation is called "Route Navigation."
Route Navigation is useful when travelling a long distance or a complicated route.

During navigation, the unit displays the following information:
¢ Track
¢ Course (direction from your current position to the passing point or final
destination)
¢ Distance between your current position and the passing point or final destination
¢ Velocity
* Cross track error display (course deviation indicator)
¢ Estimated time of arrival or estimated time enroute
* WGS84 altitude (the altitude based.on the World Geodetic System 1984
coordinates)
* Latitude
¢ Longitude
« Route name
« Name of the passing point
